Ive tried the subnetting tutorial on here but I still dont understand it. I'd thought I would clear that up before I got started. How would I produce a sub netting scheme for the network below avoiding unnecessary IP address wastage by employing a scheme that uses VLSM, with a ip address of 172.10.0.0 and heres the network: http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/n...om/network.jpg I think I want this many networks and hosts in each subnets from that ip address please correct me if Im wrong becasue i have no idea: Well theres 16 host all together split in to 3 plus the router joining them all so thats how many network I want (I guess I dont actually know) and for the first "mini network" there is 1 router, 1 switch and 2 pcs, for the second "mini network" there is 1 router, 1 switch and 3 pcs and for the third "mini network" there is 1 router, 1 switch and 4 pcs Thanks for any help GRG Last edited by geekrockergal; 9th December 2008 at 12:42 AM. |
